The series remains true to its roots in regards to gameplay. Texture quality, object density and draw distance are superb. This ensures that the newest part is by far the most beautiful and visually stunning one. GameplayThe game Sniper Elite 4 is still powered by the same Asura-graphics-engine as its predecessor, but the engine has been reworked and upgraded with new features like DirectX-12 and Async Compute. The fourth installment in the series, Sniper Elite 4, is by far the best one, yet! Long-term motivation was clearly a goal for the developer. All of the 10 main missions offer 3 additional side quests and different challenges for achievements. From coastal towns, forests to battles in the Italian Alps, Sniper Elite 4 offers everything a gamers' heart desires. The gaming-world is the biggest of the series and you have a lot of freedom to explore all of it.
The goal of the DLC is, who would have guessed, to kill Hitler! Hitler is there to see how the preparations and buildings of new submarines are coming along. The DLC is separate from the plot of the main game and sends you into a submarine shipyard. With this being a WW2-game, Hitler has to be included one way or the other. If you preordered the game you get the exclusive Hitler-DLC for free. Overall, though, the story offers more depth than in all other parts of the series. Unfortunately, most of the characters and dialogues are very boring and flat. To finish all missions in the video-game Sniper Elite 4, you can count on support from the local resistance and even the Italian Mob is more than willing to help you out in any way possible. They are working on a new secret super-weapon. During your sabotage missions, you encounter a secret plan of the Nazis. As the sniper, Fairburne, you travel from Africa to Italy to help out the Allied forces. StoryThe story of the video game Sniper Elite 4 continues where the predecessor Sniper Elite 3 left off.
